Raveena Tandon Coming Back
Raveena Tandon, who took a sabbatical after marriage and motherhood, is planning to face the camera again, tempted by some of the offers coming her way. "One of them is a movie where I've the central role. So far, post-marriage the offers have been rather okay types. But this one is a woman-oriented film. See, if I do a film now it can't be the usual pony-tailed Jill-in-a-drill kind of thing. I'd be happy to do this one film, as long as they don't clash with my daughter's routine," Raveena told IANS.
The other offer, which Mast girl Raveena is tight-lipped about, is for a non-fiction programme on a news channel. "Rasha (Raveena's daughter) is the least problematic child. Not at all cranky like her mother."
"Doing TV is even easier for me because I can synchronise my clock according to Rasha's schedules. In any case, she's the least problematic child. Not at all cranky like her mother," said Raveena, who has two kids.
The National Award winning actress would be the latest in a long queue of married actresses who have returned after motherhood.
The successful ones were Rakhee, who returned with Kabhi Kabhie and Tapasya, Sharmila Tagore, who did her most successful films like Aradhana, Amar PremMausam after marriage, Dimple Kapadia had a fabulous innings post marriage and motherhood with Sagar, Rudaali and Lekin and Hema Malini, who continues to be a queen way past marriage and grownup daughters. Among recent actresses, Kajol has doled out several successful movies post marriage like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Fanaa. and

20 October 2007 (Sawf News) - Amongst the stars present to see a young Indian team confidently trounce the Aussies in the Twenty20 match at the Brabourne Stadium Mumbai Saturday, October 20, were Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Raveena Tandon and of curse debutant Deepika Padukone who got a special invite for the match from Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Raveena Is Kind Hearted...
Raveena Tandon is really kind hearted. When she heard that about 20 orphan girls from 'Sneha Sagar Home' were homeless she immediately gave them shelter in her MHADA bungalow. Kiran Ikka and Raveena's sis Martha takes care of children's education and other things. Kiran says, "We have been staying here from December and Raveenaji has been kind to us. She drops in whenever she has the time. She is very warm and affectionate." On the other hand Raveena reveals, "They are really needy and I would appeal people to come forward and help them. Whatever I did was for a good cause and I don't believe in talking about it."
